Who makes it

KILLCRITIC is made by Repair Tune LLC, which does business as KILLCRITIC by X1OTHINK. Repair Tune LLC is the company you sign up with and the one named in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

What KILLCRITIC does

It looks after the part of a local business that customers see on Google before they ever walk in: the Google Business Profile, the reviews, and the listings on other sites.

  • A free score. A 0–100 score for your Google Business Profile and a list of what to fix first, free and with no card.
  • Review replies. A reply drafted for every review, in six tones, that you edit and approve.
  • More reviews, asked for fairly. A printable QR card and a short review link, the same for every customer.
  • Profile fixes you approve. Categories, services, hours and holiday hours, sent to Google one change at a time, only when you click.
  • Where you show up. A weekly check of your Google Maps position across a 5×5 grid around your shop.
  • Listings and competitors. A guided list of the directories your trade needs, with your details ready to paste, and (on Growth and Pro) a side-by-side view of nearby competitors.

Rules we don't break

  • Nothing goes on Google without your OK. Every reply, post and profile change is a draft until you approve it.
  • We ask every customer, never just the happy ones. Picking only happy customers to ask for reviews is against Google's rules, so the review card and link go to everyone the same way.
  • Never a fake review. We won't write, buy or ask for fake or paid-for reviews, for anyone. Fake reviews break the FTC's rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465), rewards for reviews break Google's rules, and both get profiles suspended.
  • No promised rankings. Nobody can promise a spot on Google Maps or a date you'll get there. We show you what to fix and track what changes.
  • The price is on the page. No sales call, no contract, and cancelling takes two clicks.

KILLCRITIC is new. Rather than testimonials you can't check, we publish these rules, and our own site follows the same advice we give our customers.

Google and AI

KILLCRITIC is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. With your permission it connects to your Google Business Profile through Google's API, to read your profile and send the changes you approve.

Reply drafts, posts and articles are written with Anthropic's Claude, using your real business details. You review everything before it is published.
